The London housing market is never far from the front pages of the papers. As a thriving global city, with an expected population growth to 13 million by 2050, London is reaching boiling point in terms of housing capacity.
Apartments for London entered the market in spring 2017, with a different approach, based around communities and innovative housing methods.
From people that provide essential services to keep our city running, to young professionals that shape our city’s future, each deserve a quality and affordable home to live in London. We believe that it is our duty to support them, enable them to live near work, put them at the heart of the community and provide them with quality homes where they want to live.
Space comes at a high premium in London, which has resulted in developers, like us to create new housing solutions to support London’s housing needs.
Policy changes suggested in the draft London Plan and recent promises by Theresa May at the National Housing Conference on providing an overhaul of the National Planning Policy framework are encouraging, but we believe more can be done for the housing market if we remain innovative and fresh in our approaches.
